The vada was served separately with garlic dry powder, green, tamarind chutney and Pav.It was just perfect and tasted just like how you get back in India. However, they didn't have enough staff to take care of orders and there was queue of waiting customers. There was only one distressed lady who took orders and was packing food for the customers. One would not like the ambiance of that restaurant, but can count on their food.

We were here on a Sunday afternoon at a pretty odd time. We had the place to ourselves. As a party of 2 we ordered the following : Vadapav : 4/5. This was a pretty good vada pav. Dabeli : 3/5. This was only okay, it was quite sweet for our taste. Kokam sherbet: 4/5. This was really nice on a hot day. It wasn't overly sweet either, so that was a plus. The service was quite fast and the ambience is just okay , but clean.

Decent chat place before or after the movies. They do have a screen displaying the shows at the theatre next door which was nice, basically like being at the airport waiting for the your flight :) The sev batata dahi puri was good, just the right amount of tangy. The Bombay grilled sandwich was wholesome. I would definitely come back to try the namesake wadapav next time if I'm here for a movie, maybe not worth a detour from Sunnyvale

Wow I've been really missing out on good Indian food. I usually only order curry and naan when I eat Indian food but this place introduced me to other Indian food items. Interior is basic. Lots of tables and booth seating, too. You simply just order at the counter and grab your own seat. The staff at the register was super nice and helpful with explaining the different food items on the menu. Here's what we ended up ordering: - mumbai sandwich ($8) - mumbai aloo frankie ($9) - paneer tikki frankie ($10) - vada pav ($5) - samosas ($5) Everything was delicious! The green sauce that came with some of the items is spicy and perfect for dipping. My favorite item was probably the mumbai aloo frankie, vada pav, and samosas. Good portions but definitely recommend ordering a couple items to try. Highly recommend Joshi Vadapav if you're searching for some tasty Indian food!
